Central heating outputs are BS EN 442 figures at ΔT50 (flow 75°C, return 65°C, room 20°C), taken from each product page and shown as the smallest to largest size. At ΔT30 (heat pumps) expect roughly half the ΔT50 figure; at ΔT60 about a quarter more. Electric models list element wattage instead.
Choosing a Reina Material
- Aluminium — light, quick to heat and to respond to the thermostat, well suited to condensing boilers and heat pumps.
- Mild steel — robust, the best value, and available in white, black, anthracite and chrome finishes.
- Stainless steel — corrosion resistant for damp bathrooms, in polished, brushed and coloured finishes.

Which Reina material is best — aluminium, steel or stainless steel?
Aluminium radiators are light and respond quickly, which suits modern condensing boilers and heat pumps. Mild steel is robust and the most affordable, and takes a wide range of finishes. Stainless steel towel rails resist corrosion in damp bathrooms. Compare output and price in the tables above.
Are Reina radiators suitable for a heat pump?
Many are. Heat pumps run at lower flow temperatures (ΔT30 or below), where a radiator gives roughly half its ΔT50 output, so choose a larger size or one with a higher ΔT50 figure. Check the full ΔT30 values on the product page and use our BTU calculator to size the room.
What is the difference between central heating and electric Reina models?
Central heating models connect to your boiler or heat pump pipework and are rated in BTU and watts at ΔT50. Electric models are self-contained with their own element, listed in watts, and need only a power supply.
