Frequently Asked Questions
Q.
Is the Reina Grace compatible with a heat pump?
A. Reina publish a Delta T30 output for every Grace size and finish, so it can be used on a heat pump system - use the Delta T30 column in our heat output table for accurate figures. Size the rail against that column rather than the gas boiler figures.
Q.
Can the Grace be used as an electric or dual fuel towel rail?
A. Reina list the Grace for central heating, electric and dual fuel. For electric or dual fuel use you need a compatible heating element, so please contact our team to confirm the right kit for your size and finish before ordering.
Q.
What valves do I need for the Grace?
A. The Grace has G1/2 inch connections with pipe centres of 100mm. Radiator valves are not supplied, so contact our team if you would like help choosing a pair that suits your pipework.
Q.
What are the pipe centres and wall distances on the Grace?
A. Pipe centres are 100mm, wall to pipe centres is 61 to 76mm, and the rail projects 102 to 117mm from the wall. Both sizes are 500mm wide.
Q.
Why is the Chrome output lower than Anthracite and White?
A. Reina's datasheet lists a lower output for the Chrome finish than for Anthracite and White at each size. At 1140mm, Chrome is rated at 321W at Delta T50 against 466W for Anthracite and White. Use the row for your finish in the heat output table when you size the rail.
Q.
Which size Grace do I need?
A. Use the room fit calculator on this page. Enter your room dimensions and heating system type and it shows which Grace size and finish meets your heat loss. The 780mm rail has 7 bars and the 1140mm rail has 10 bars for towels.
Q.
What finishes is the Grace available in?
A. Chrome, Anthracite and White, in both the 780mm and 1140mm heights. Anthracite and White have the same heat output at each size.
Q.
What are the maximum temperature and pressure, and how far from the floor should it be fitted?
A. Reina's installation guide gives a maximum working temperature of 95C and a maximum working pressure of 4 bar. Do not mount the radiator closer than 50mm below an overhanging surface such as a shelf, or lower than 100mm from the floor. The Grace carries a 5-year Reina guarantee and should be fitted by a qualified installer.
