Is the Reina Rione compatible with a heat pump?
A. Reina publish Delta T30 outputs for every Rione size and panel option, so it can be sized for a low-temperature system - use the Delta T30 column in our heat output table. Mild steel warms up more slowly than aluminium, so allow a little longer to reach temperature.

Single or double panel - which should I choose?
A. A double panel gives a higher heat output for the same width: for example the 544 x 1000mm gives 2,223 BTU as a single and 3,379 BTU as a double at Delta T50. Both panels are 544mm high and sit at the same 96-106mm wall distance range, so the choice comes down to the heat output you need.

What valves do I need for the Rione?
A. Valves are not supplied. The Rione has 1/2 inch female pipe thread connections, and we recommend thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) for individual room control.

What are the pipe centres on the Rione?
A. Pipe centres are 45mm less than the overall width: 355mm for the 400mm width, up to 1355mm for the 1400mm width. Wall to pipe centres is 67-77mm on the single panel and 68mm on the double, and the wall distance is 96-106mm single and 97mm double.

A. Most Rione sizes are listed by Reina for central heating, electric and dual fuel use: every single panel width, and the double panel up to 1000mm wide. The double panel in 1200mm and 1400mm widths is listed for central heating use. If you want an electric or dual fuel set-up, contact our team and we will confirm the correct electric element kit for your size.

What is the guarantee and maximum working pressure?
A. The Rione carries a 5-year manufacturer guarantee. The installation guide gives a maximum operational pressure of 6 bar, and we recommend a maximum water temperature of 95 degrees C.
