Towel Rail Heating Elements — Standard, Thermostatic & WiFi
Heating elements convert your central heating towel rail into an electric or dual fuel system. They screw into the bottom inlet (½ inch BSP thread) and heat the thermal fluid inside your rail. All elements include a 1.5m cable and require hardwired installation to a fused spur by a qualified electrician.
Which Element Type Do You Need?
- Standard PTC Element — Fixed temperature (~65°C), self-regulating ceramic technology. Safest option — cannot overheat even if fluid runs low. Best for rental properties and simple setups. Pair with an external timer for scheduling.
- ER-Touch Thermostatic — Adjustable temperature dial (30-60°C) with automatic cycling. Our most popular choice. Includes built-in timer (1-5 hours). 2-year warranty.
- ER WiFi Smart Element — Full app control via Tuya/SmartLife. Set schedules, control remotely, compatible with Google Home and Alexa. Chrome finish only.
Wattage Sizing
