The Reina Colona Horizontal is a traditional mild steel column radiator, available with 2, 3 or 4 columns across 13 heights and widths from 300 x 1010mm up to 600 x 1370mm, in White, Anthracite or Raw Steel Lacquer. The classic multi-column profile gives a high heat output for the wall space it takes, and the thick steel body holds its heat after the boiler switches off.

Calculated to EN 442 and taken directly from Reina's own datasheet. ΔT60 = high-temp boilers (80°C flow). ΔT50 = standard gas boiler (75/65°C). ΔT30 = heat pump (50/40°C). Is the Reina Colona Horizontal compatible with a heat pump?
A. It is rated at Delta T30, so it will work on a heat pump system - use the Delta T30 column in our heat output table for accurate figures. Steel warms up more slowly than aluminium, so if your system runs at low flow temperatures year-round an aluminium model will respond faster.

How many columns should I choose - 2, 3 or 4?
A. More columns means more surface area and a higher heat output for the same height and width, at a higher price. Use the room fit calculator on this page with each column count to compare - a 2 column may suit a small en-suite, while a 4 column in the same footprint suits a larger living room.
Q.
What valves do I need for the Colona Horizontal?
A. Radiator valves are not supplied with the Colona Horizontal. We recommend thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) for individual room control. Allow for your chosen valve set when measuring pipe centres - add 90mm to the width for pipe centres including valves.

What are the pipe centres on the Colona Horizontal?
A. Pipe centres equal the radiator width, from 605mm up to 1370mm depending on size. Wall to pipe centres is 66mm and the radiator projects 98mm from the wall on the 500mm and 600mm high models; the 300mm high models are 68mm and 118mm respectively.

A. White and Anthracite across most of the 2 and 3 column sizes, with the 4 column limited to White. Raw Steel Lacquer is available on 2 and 3 column models at 600mm height only (605-1190mm wide) - each Raw Steel Lacquer radiator has a unique, unpainted metal appearance.

A. Steel is robust, takes a hard-wearing finish and holds its heat after the boiler switches off, which smooths out temperature swings. A traditional multi-column profile, inspired by heritage cast iron radiators, gives a high heat output for the wall space it uses.
