Is the Reina Kale compatible with a heat pump?
A. Reina publish a Delta T30 output for every Kale size, so it can be used on a heat pump system - use the Delta T30 column in our heat output table for accurate figures. Size the rail against that column rather than the gas boiler figures.

Can the Kale be used as an electric or dual fuel towel rail?
A. Reina list the Kale for central heating, electric and dual fuel. For electric or dual fuel use you need a compatible heating element, so please contact our team to confirm the right kit for your size before ordering.

What valves do I need for the Kale?
A. The Kale has 1/2 inch female pipe thread inlet and outlet connections, 450mm apart. Radiator valves are not supplied, so contact our team if you would like help choosing a pair that suits your pipework.

What are the pipe centres and wall distances on the Kale?
A. Pipe centres are 450mm for all three sizes, wall to pipe centres is 55mm, and the rail projects 100mm from the wall. All sizes are 500mm wide.

Which size Kale do I need?
A. Use the room fit calculator on this page. Enter your room dimensions and heating system type and it shows which Kale size meets your heat loss. The 816mm height has 12 bars, the 1126mm has 16 and the 1436mm has 20.

A. Reina's installation guide gives a maximum operational pressure of 6 bar (600 kPa). We rate the Kale for water temperatures up to 95°C, which covers standard central heating flow temperatures.

What is supplied with the Kale and how heavy is it?
A. Reina supply wall brackets, screws with wall plugs, grub screws and a hex key. Valves are not included. Empty weight is 12.7kg for the 816mm, 16.5kg for the 1126mm and 20.2kg for the 1436mm, so check your wall suits the fixings before installing.
