Which size should I choose — 1000W, 1500W, or 2000W?

What controls does the Maia Horizontal have?

The Maia Horizontal uses a Weekly Thermostatic Control Unit — a built-in programmable thermostat that lets you set target temperatures and schedules across the week.

Is aluminium better than steel for an electric radiator?

For electric radiators, aluminium heats up faster and cools down faster than steel. This responsiveness means a thermostatic control can react more precisely to room temperature changes — less overshoot, quicker correction.

Can it run independently of the central heating?

Yes — entirely independently. The Maia Horizontal is dry electric with no connection to your boiler or hot water circuit. Use it year-round, in summer or winter, regardless of whether the heating is on.

Is it available in colours other than white?

The Maia Horizontal is available in white only. If you need the same aluminium electric radiator in Anthracite, the Reina Serre is a similar horizontal aluminium model available in both White and Anthracite.

How much does the Maia Horizontal cost to run?
