Is the Reina Vada compatible with a heat pump?

Yes. The Vada is made from aluminium, which heats up and releases heat faster than steel. At the lower flow temperatures heat pumps operate at (40–50°C), aluminium's large surface area maintains good heat output. Check the ΔT30 column in our output table for the accurate figure for your system.

What valves do I need for the Reina Vada?

The Vada has 1/2 inch BSP side connections with a fixed pipe centre distance of 450mm. Use angled valves if your pipes come from the floor, or corner valves if they come from the wall — angled valves protrude when used with wall pipes, so corner valves give a cleaner finish in that case. We recommend a TRV (thermostatic radiator valve) on one side for individual room temperature control.

What is the pipe centre distance on the Vada?

The pipe centre distance is 450mm for all three sizes of the Vada (870mm, 1190mm, and 1510mm heights). This is fixed regardless of the height you choose. Measure your existing pipe centres before ordering to confirm the fit.
