The CB-WCONT-TMR is a Heated Towel Radiator Timer Switch. The timer is suitable for patress box mounting. The 7-day 24 hours programming logic controls a mains-linked switch, with a resistive rating of 13 amperes. There is an inbuilt re-chargeable cell to keep the timer running in the event of a loss of mains power.

The output can be disconnected by an integrated double-pole isolator switch; the load is protected by a replaceable BS1362 13 Ampere cartridge fuse, within a removable caddy.

We also have a WiFi Connected Electric Towel Radiator Timer with a Fused Spur built in.

Control of Energy

This item is exactly right for the job.
Control of energy costs is simple because the unit allows exact timings. This means that you can heat when you want and not waste energy. You simply program the device (easily done) and let it do its job. I use them on dual fuel radiators in coordination with solar and oil fired CH. Since using it, I use considerably less oil and (believe it or not) electricity from the grid. They are capable of much more than I use them for like immersion heater control in the same way. I am changing the old steel radiators to aluminium (twice as efficient) with dual fuel capability each with its own controller.

Power without control is merely potential, not true strength.

Digital Fused Spur Timer Switch

Nice looking unit that helpfully and neatly combines the fused switch with the timer control - just what I was looking for. I've fitted it and set it up, however not had the chance to use it to control a towel rail heater as my plumber hasn't been around yet to modify the plumbing to make it dual fuel. Giving it 4 stars simply because I haven't been able to use it properly yet but hope it will be excellent.

We offer our electric towel radiator range pre-filled with choice of element.

Element doesn't come installed on the towel rail, this is for avoiding any transit damage. You can install the element into the left or right hand side at the bottom.

We fill our electric towel rail radiators with minimum 85% Filtered RO Water (Reverse Osmosis) and inhibitor ( Ethylene Glycol ) mixture. We leave air gap for expansion and must bleed on the first heat after installation.

No, as heat rises, element must be installed at the bottom of the towel rail. Element must be immersed into the filling medium.
