WiFi Smart Electric Radiators

Control your heating from anywhere. Our WiFi smart electric radiators connect to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app — set weekly schedules, adjust temperature remotely, and integrate with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit. No plumber. No pipework. Plug in and heat smartly.

What's in This Range

Three aluminium-bodied WiFi electric radiators from Reina — each with a built-in ceramic core, fast heat-up, and precise app control:

Model Design Wattages Finish Options Best For
Reina Serre Horizontal flat panel, aluminium 1000W, 1500W, 2000W White, Anthracite Living rooms, open-plan spaces
Reina Aron Horizontal ceramic core, aluminium 1000W, 1500W, 2000W White, Anthracite Bedrooms, home offices
Reina Odet Horizontal ceramic core, aluminium 1000W, 1500W, 2000W White, Anthracite Kitchens, utility rooms

App Control — Tuya Smart & Smart Life

All three radiators use the Tuya platform — one of the most widely adopted smart home ecosystems in the UK. Both the Tuya Smart and Smart Life apps are free, available on iOS and Android, and give you:

  • Weekly scheduling — set different temperatures for different times of day, 7 days a week
  • Remote temperature control — adjust from anywhere with a phone signal
  • Open window detection — automatically cuts heating when a rapid temperature drop is sensed
  • Energy monitoring — track daily and monthly consumption
  • Group control — manage multiple radiators from a single screen
  • Voice control — compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit

Why Choose a WiFi Smart Electric Radiator?

No central heating required. WiFi electric radiators work completely independently — ideal for rooms not on your central heating system, extensions, garden offices, or properties without gas. No boiler, no pipework, no annual service.

Only heat what you use. Unlike central heating where the whole system runs together, each WiFi radiator has its own schedule and thermostat. A home office that's only used weekday mornings costs a fraction of heating it all day. The app makes that precision scheduling effortless.

Aluminium heats fast. All three models in this range use an aluminium body with a ceramic core. Aluminium has a low heat capacity — it reaches operating temperature in 10–15 minutes, far faster than steel column radiators or storage heaters. The ceramic core adds thermal mass to smooth out the heat delivery once up to temperature.

Paired with solar or off-peak tariffs. If you're on an Octopus Agile, Economy 7, or other time-of-use tariff, the app scheduling lets you shift heating to the cheapest rate windows automatically. Couple this with decent insulation and the running cost advantage over gas becomes significant.

WiFi Smart Electric Radiator FAQs

What app do these radiators use?

Tuya Smart or Smart Life — both free on iOS and Android. Same app, different branding. Either works. Both support Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit.

Do they need 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi?

2.4 GHz only during pairing. Most modern routers broadcast both — connect your phone to 2.4 GHz before setting up, then it stays connected regardless of which band your phone uses day-to-day.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The radiator keeps running on its last programmed schedule. You lose remote app control until connectivity returns, but manual controls on the unit work at all times.

Do they need a plumber or electrician?

No plumber. They plug into a standard 13A socket. If you prefer hardwiring, a qualified electrician can connect to a fused spur — usually under 30 minutes.

Can I control multiple radiators together?

Yes — group them in the app and control temperature and schedules for all of them at once from a single screen.

Are these suitable for a main heating source?

Yes for well-insulated rooms. A 2000W radiator will comfortably heat a living room up to around 25m² in a modern insulated property. For older solid-wall properties, size up or add a second unit.
