Frequently Asked Questions
Q.
Does the Reina Loge Square valve come as a pair?
A. Yes. It is sold as a matching pair of valves (SKU VLV-LGEAS), one for the flow side and one for the return side of your towel rail or radiator.
Q.
What does straight mean for a radiator valve?
A. It describes how the valve connects to your pipework. This is the straight version: straight - the two outlets run in-line with the valve body, for pipework that comes straight out of the wall behind the rail. If your pipework suits the opposite layout, we also stock the angled version in the same finish.
Q.
Will this valve fit my towel rail or radiator?
A. It uses a standard 15mm - 1/2" connection, which fits the great majority of towel rails and radiators sold in the UK. If you are unsure about your own model, please contact our team to confirm before ordering.
Q.
Is this a thermostatic (TRV) valve?
A. No. This is a manual on/off valve pair, not a thermostatic radiator valve (TRV). It turns the flow on and off by hand rather than regulating temperature automatically.
Q.
Is the anthracite finish durable in a bathroom?
A. Yes. The valve body is stainless steel, which resists corrosion, and the anthracite finish is applied to withstand everyday bathroom humidity.
Q.
Can I use this valve with microbore (8mm or 10mm) pipework?
A. Reina do not publish reducer adaptors as a standard inclusion for this valve. Please contact our team to confirm what is needed for microbore pipework before you order.
