The Elegant Antico is a timeless mild steel column radiator with a low, wide profile, made to sit under a window or along a feature wall. Choose 2, 3, 4 or 6 columns across 28 height and width combinations, from 300mm to 750mm high and 425mm to 1370mm wide, in a clean white finish. The steel body holds its heat after the boiler switches off, and every size has published heat outputs for gas boilers and heat pumps.

A. Yes - it has published Delta T30 heat outputs, so you can size it for a heat pump. Use the Delta T30 column in the heat output table or switch the room calculator on this page to Heat pump. Steel warms up more slowly than aluminium, so allow a little longer to reach temperature.

How many columns should I choose - 2, 3, 4 or 6?

A. More columns means more surface area and a higher heat output for the same height and width. A 2 column suits a small room or a low window sill, while a 4 or 6 column gives far more heat from the same wall space. Compare them in the heat output tables below, or use the room calculator.

What valves do I need for the Elegant Antico?

A. Radiator valves are not supplied. We recommend thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) for individual room control. When measuring for your pipework, add 90mm to the radiator width for the pipe centres including valves.

What are the pipe centres and wall clearance?

A. Pipe centres equal the radiator width, from 425mm up to 1370mm. Wall to pipe centres is 68mm on the 2 and 3 column, 95mm on the 4 column and 133mm on the 6 column. The 2 column projects 92mm from the wall, the 3 column 118mm, the 4 column 160mm and the 6 column 243mm.

Single vs Double Panel

Double panel radiators output roughly 60–80% more BTUs than single panel in the same dimensions. Choose double for larger rooms or if you want more heat from a smaller footprint. Single panels are slimmer and lighter.
