Straight TRV + lockshield valve pair. Brass. Anthracite finish.
Product Overview & Key Specs
The Reina Modal TRV Straight Valve is a straight-pattern valve set for towel rails and radiators, finished in Anthracite. The pack pairs one thermostatic radiator valve (TRV), which automatically regulates water flow to hold your chosen temperature, with one manual lockshield valve for balancing your heating system. The straight pattern suits pipework that runs directly into the radiator, such as floor pipes positioned under the rail. Standard British 15mm - 1/2" thread connection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q.
Does the Reina Modal TRV Straight Valve come as a pair?
A. Yes. Each pack contains one thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) and one matching manual lockshield valve in Anthracite, giving you a complete straight valve set for one side of your towel rail or radiator - not two TRVs.
Q.
What does "straight" mean for this valve?
A. Straight describes the pipe layout: the valve connects in a direct line to your radiator, for use where your pipework rises straight up into the valve (typically from floor pipes positioned directly under the radiator). If your pipes run out from the wall behind the radiator, you need an angled valve instead; if the pipe approaches from the side, you need a corner valve.
Q.
Will this valve fit my radiator or towel rail?
A. It uses a standard British 15mm - 1/2" BSP thread connection, which fits the vast majority of towel rails and radiators sold in the UK. If you are unsure, please contact our team with your radiator model before ordering.
Q.
Is this a thermostatic (TRV) or manual valve?
A. Both. The pack includes one thermostatic valve (TRV), which automatically adjusts water flow to maintain your chosen temperature setting, and one lockshield valve, which is set once by an installer to balance flow around your heating system.
Q.
How durable is the Anthracite finish?
A. The valve body is brass, plated or finished in Anthracite. As with any bathroom fitting, keep it clean and dry and avoid abrasive cleaners to help the finish last.
Q.
Is this valve suitable for a bathroom?
A. Yes, it's designed for use on towel rails and radiators in bathrooms as well as any other room.
